Community Guidelines
We are building a community where voice talent of all levels can grow, connect, and share. These guidelines are here to keep things positive, respectful, and helpful for everyone.
1. Respect Every Voice
Treat others with kindness and professionalism. We welcome differing opinions, but personal attacks, harassment, or hate speech won’t be tolerated. Think before you post, your words have tone, even in text.
2. Keep Conversations On Topic
Stay focused on the voice-over industry, performance, tools, training, and related creative topics. Off-topic comments may be removed to maintain clarity and value for everyone.
3. Promote Responsibly
We support self-promotion when it’s relevant and valuable. For example, sharing your demo reel in a feedback thread is great. Dropping links with no context or spamming the comments? Not so much.
4. Foster a Supportive Environment
New voice artists are just as welcome as veterans. Offer feedback, not judgment. If you’re giving critique, make it kind, specific, and constructive. Remember: we’re all here to learn and grow.
5. Keep It Clean & Professional
This is a creative space, but it’s also a professional one. Avoid profanity, NSFW content, or language that could make others uncomfortable. Let’s keep things safe, inclusive, and friendly.
6. Protect Intellectual Property
Only share content that you have the right to post. This includes scripts, audio, images, and media. If you're referencing or reposting someone else’s work, be sure to credit them properly.
7. No Harassment, Bullying, or Discrimination
This includes comments about race, gender, orientation, age, ability, or background. We’re proud to support a diverse creative space, keep it respectful and inclusive for all.
8. Avoid AI Spam or Misuse
You may use AI tools as part of your workflow (e.g., script writing or audio cleanup), but misrepresenting AI-generated content as your own voice-over performance is not acceptable. Be transparent.
9. Report Issues, Don’t Escalate
If you encounter behavior or content that violates these guidelines, please report it instead of responding aggressively. Let us review and handle it appropriately.
10. Have Fun, But Stay Thoughtful
Voice-over is a creative and collaborative industry. Be yourself, have fun, share ideas, but also consider how your comments and content impact others in the space.
Consequences
Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, content removal, or account suspension, depending on severity. We reserve the right to moderate for the overall health of the community.
